Earned Associated Press Group AA Player of the Year as well as First-Team All-Group honors after playing quarterback and leading Amherst to its second straight Division 4 State title his senior year... Rushed for 1,790 yards and 27 touchdowns and threw for more than 1,100 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior in 2007... Was a Second-Team All-Group selection as a defensive back his junior season... Was Ranked No. 16 in Virginia’s Top 25 recruits for 2008 by The Roanoke Times.
