2012: Played in all 11 games as a sophomore, getting the start in four of the last five contests... Finished the season with 29 receptions for 323 yards and two touchdowns, ranking second on the team in yards and third in receptions... Also had six carries for 29 yards and a touchdown... Had career-highs and team season-highs of 122 yards and two touchdown catches at Richmond, his first 100-yard receiving game of his career and the only one of the season for JMU... His 39-yard scoring catch at Richmond was also a career long reception... Had a career-best eight catches in the road win at Rhode Island... Recorded receptions in nine of 11 games, with five with three or more.
2011: One of three true freshmen to see action for JMU in 2011... Played in all 13 games, earning his first collegiate start against Maine... Had eight catches for 69 yards and one touchdown on the season... Also had three rushes on the year with a long of 10 yards... Had a season-high five catches for 26 yards against Maine... Had one catch for 20 yards and his first JMU touchdown in the NCAA Second Round at North Dakota State... Also had two kick returns for 42 yards against the Bison.
High School: Two-way starter at quarterback and defensive back for Coach DeLawn Parrish at Wise High School in Maryland... Led Wise to three consecutive 4A South Region Championships and an appearance in the Class 4A State finals... Garnered Maryland Varsity First Team All-State, Washington Post Second Team All-Met and First Team All-MPSSAA as a defensive back... First Team All-County by the Washington Post as a punter and defensive back... As a senior playing both quarterback and defensive back, helped Wise to a 12-2 mark, a No. 9 ranking in the state and a berth in the Class 4A State finals... Also earned Maryland Varsity Second Team All-State and First Team Gazette All-Purpose honors... Rushed for 420 yards while throwing for 774 yards and seven touchdowns his final season... As a junior, rushed for 543 yards and threw for 626 yards, ranking Wise No. 13 in the state... As a sophomore quarterback, led team to its first playoff win and first region championship.
