Career Highlights
2014: Was a starter on the offensive line for the final 11 of 13 games played in the Dukes’ playoff season… Helped lead the CAA’s top offense post 497 yards per contest and a league-high 39.9 points per game against CAA opponents… With his help the offense also broke all school single-season marks for the main passing categories and total offense.
2013: Saw action in eight games, all off the bench… Played tight end for the Dukes during the 2013 season… Had three catches for 36 yards on the season… Had a pair of receptions for 22 yards in the home win over Albany… Also had a 14-yard catch in the home victory over Villanova.
2012: Was in all 11 games, playing on both sides of the ball during the season as well as special teams, starting on the defensive side and switching to also play some tight end midseason... Started on the defensive line against West Virginia... Had a career-best pair of tackles on the year at Villanova... Did not have any receptions at tight end.
2011: Played in 11 games to earn his first JMU letter... Had four tackles with 1.0 sack for three yards of loss and one forced fumble on the year... Had single tackles at William & Mary, against Richmond, against Rhode Island and at Massachusetts... Had his lone sack of the year versus Rhode Island, while his forced fumble came in the win over Richmond.
2010: Retained the year of eligibility after redshirting
High School: Two-way starter and three-year varsity letterwinner at tight end and linebacker for Coach Trey Taylor at Woodson... As a senior was First Team All-State at linebacker (Associated Press, Virginia Preps) after leading the Cavaliers to the district title... Earned a spot in the 2010 Northern Region vs. Northwest Region All-Star Game... Honorable Mention coaches All-State linebacker... Second Team Washington Post All-Met linebacker... First Team All-Region linebacker and Region Defensive Player of the Year runner-up... Honorable Mention All-Region tight end... First Team All-County linebacker... First Team All-District linebacker and tight end... District Defensive Player of the Year... Gameday Magazine First Team All-Region... 2009 Fairfax County Youth Football League Hall of Fame...
