At JMU: Third-year Duke who could see playing time at linebacker or strong safety... worked as reserve safety a year ago and was used extensively at linebacker during the spring practice when several Dukes were sidelined for medical reasons.
2008: Appeared in 10 games as a reserve defensive back and special teams player and took part in seven tackle... credited with five unassisted stops... involved in a season-high three tackles, two solo, and blocked one punt and recovered another block at Towson... his blocked punt recovery set up a JMU touchdown drive... took part in tackles vs. Massachusetts, Hofstra, Delaware, and William & Mary.
High School: As a Southwest Guilford senior had five interceptions and averaged 9.6 yards per rush and 41.2 yards per kickoff return... two-time all-conference.
