At JMU: Fourth-year Duke who completed spring drills as a likely starter at weak safety... has exceptional size and good speed for the position and showed a more-physical style of play and an improved knowledge of the game during the spring, said defensive coordinator George Barlow.
2007: Played in nine games as a reserve safety and on special teams... had four tackles, including two unassisted... had a solo stop and an assist at Rhode Island, a solo stop at Appalachian State and an assist vs. Villanova.
2006: As a reserve DB appeared in four games... had a solo tackle at Virginia Military.
High School: Member of two regional title teams at Sandy Creek... two-time all-county and all-area... set a team record with five interceptions as a junior and was defender of the year as a senior.
Personal: Kinesiology major with a sports management concentration.
