2006: Played in each game, starting the final seven... became a starter at New Hampshire Oct. 14... team's No. 6 tackler with 53 (27 solo, 4 for loss, 1 sack)... had four stops (2 solo) and one of the game's key plays at then-No. 1 New Hampshire when his 44-yard interception return for a TD pulled JMU into a 7-7 tie in a 42-23 win... had a season-best seven tackles (2 solo) and broke up a pass vs. Delaware... had six tackles vs. Rhode Island (3 solo, 2 for loss, 1 sack), Villanova (4 solo) and Towson (4 solo)... had five stops vs. Bloomsburg, Richmond and Youngstown State... forced a fumble and broke up a pass vs. Rhode Island.
2005: As a red-shirt freshman played in each game except the opener as a reserve safety and on special teams... had 11 tackles (3 solo)... had a season-high seven stops (3 solo, 1 sack) vs. Delaware State... returned a fumble on a sack 10 yards vs. Delaware State to set up a field goal... had two stops vs. Maine.
High School: District defender of the year and the Virginia Gazette’s area player of the year as a Bruton senior... all-area by the Newport News Daily Press... first-team all-district and all-region and second-team all-state DB... ran for 1,260 yards, had 560 return yards, and scored 19 TDs.... state all-star game participant.
