At JMU: Two-year returning OT starter... in his third JMU year after transferring from Utah and immediately assuming a prominent role... missed spring drills (shoulder) but is a steady and smart player who the JMU staff expects to continue to fill a leading role on the offense, said OL coach Chris Malone.
2007: Starter throughout the year... second-team All-CAA... first-team all-state by the Roanoke Times and second-team by the state's sports information directors... received the team's Hess-Green Award (overcoming hardship, injuries).

Before JMU: Played at Utah in 2005 after sitting out 2004 as a freshman redshirt... three-time all-league performer at Fagatuio High School and a team captain as a senior... didn't allow a sack in three years... team was 20-1-1 during his last two seasons, including an 11-0 mark during his senior year... member of an all-star team that beat a team of Hawaii all-stars 13-12 in the first Samoa Bowl... lettered in baseball and basketball... National Honor Society member.
PERSONAL: Kinesiology major with a sports management concentration
