Why did you choose JMU? I felt an immediate since of belonging just after one visit to JMU and knew it was the school for me. I was welcomed with open arms by everyone I met on campus.
What is your major? My major is Health Services Administration and my minor is Business.
What do you enjoy most about JMU Swimming and Diving? The energy and excitement that my teammates and I create before competing at dual meets and CAAs.
What are your goals for this season? My goal this season is to make top 8 at CAA’s in my best event, the 200 Backstroke.
What is your pre-meet ritual and/or music? Stretching and warming up till I feel lean and lose, lots of Powerade and a pep talk with Allison Russell.
Who or what motivates you and why? My brother motivates me because he is also a swimmer and is constantly improving and achieving big things; his success is a constant reminder for me that nothing is out of your reach if you want it bad enough!
What are your favorite things about JMU? The campus, the professors and academic support, and football games
What is your favorite place on campus? I love relaxing in front of the Athletic Performance Center.

What do you want to do after college? I want to help older individuals have a happy and smooth transition into their later years within the health care system. What is your favorite event and why? The 200 backstroke, because it makes for a great race and you really get to see what yourself and components are made of.

What other activities or hobbies do you enjoy? I enjoy sailing, photography, and scrapbooking.
