2011: Played in 10 games, earning the start in three of them... Recorded a career-high 32 tackles on the season, including 21 solos, as well as a forced fumble and an interception... Also had 10 punt returns for 61 yards with a long of 14... Had a career-best nine tackles, six of them solos, at Old Dominion... Prior to that surpassed his previous career high with eight tackles, also with six solos, and an interception returned for 40 yards in the home win over Villanova... Had six tackles with four solos against Maine... Had three tackles and a forced fumble in the home opener against Central Connecticut State... Had a season-high four returns each against Richmond and Villanova... Had 26 yards on returns against Villlanova with his career long of 14.
2010: Played in 10 games, starting four, to earn his first letter at JMU... Made 16 tackles, including 12 solos... Had five tackles and one interception against Morehead State... Recorded four tackles against UMass... Finished his season with two solo tackles in a win over William and Mary.
2009: Did not see any action in his first season with the program.
Prior to JMU: Joined the JMU program during the spring 2009 semester after attending Marshall for the fall 2008 semester.
High School: Three-year football standout as a wide receiver, cornerback and kick returner at Patrick Henry High School... All-District, All-Region, and All-Metro (Richmond) as a senior when he scored 15 touchdowns... Member of a 10-0 District-Title team as a sophomore and a Regional Runner-Up team as a senior... As a baseball shortstop batted .412 with four home runs as a senior.
