At JMU: Fourth-year Duke who is expected to compete for time at FB as he recovers from an off-season shoulder problem, said RB coach Ulrick Edmonds... moved to offense during the 2007 preseason and missed 2008 spring drills with the shoulder problem.
2007: Moved to FB from the DL before the season and appeared in 10 games... started at Northeastern.
2006: Played in seven games as a redshirt freshman before missing the final month because of injury... had five tackles, including three during a win at then-No. 1 New Hampshire... assisted on a stop for loss at New Hampshire and had solo tackles vs. Northeastern and Virginia Military.
High School: District defender of the year and first-team all-state, all-region, all-district and all-metro as a Hermitage senior... as a senior had 115 tackles (13 for loss) on an 11-1 team... all-district and honorable mention all-region and all-metro as a junior... district heavyweight wrestling champion.
Personal: Kinesiology major with a sports management concentration... in 2006 received the team's academic award for second-year players.
