At JMU: Returning starter who has been recognized among the top DEs in Division I-AA... first-team preseason All-America by Street & Smith's and Lindy's... has good size and mobility and has worked to make himself an outstanding player, according to the JMU staff... preseason All-A-10... needs 3.5 sacks to move onto JMU's top-10 career list.
2005: Started each game... first-team All-A-10... first-team all-state by the state's sports information directors and second team by the Roanoke Times... second-team All-Northeast Region by Football Weekly... led JMU in stops for loss (12) and sacks (8)... second in the A-10 in sacks and tied for sixth in stops for loss... sixth on the team in tackles with 55 (25 solo) and first among DL... matched his career high with seven tackles at Delaware and had six stops six times... had three sacks (minus-23 yards) among six stops vs. Lock Haven and two sacks (minus-15 yards) among four stops vs. Richmond... had solo sacks vs. Delaware State and Massachusetts and shared sacks vs. Coastal Carolina and Towson... had six solo stops at William & Mary.
