Before JMU: Came to JMU during the summer of 2005 after three years at Virginia Tech, red-shirting one and playing two... worked as a center and guard at Virginia Tech... in 2004 played in four games -- Western Michigan, Duke, Florida A&M and Maryland... took part in 64 offensive plays... in 2003 played in two games -- Connecticut and Syracuse... lettered four times as an OL and deep snapper at Petersburg High School... team ran for 2,800 yards his senior year and he was its top offensive player and top OL... second-team all-district and all-metro... an all-academic choice, student council president, and a letterman in track and wrestling.
