2005: Played in each game and was in the team's rotation at DT throughout the year... made six starts -- vs. Delaware State, Hofstra, Maine, Delaware, Richmond and William & Mary... had 22 stops (seven solo)... had 2.5 sacks and three stops for loss... returned a third-quarter interception 33 yards for a TD to give JMU a 21-7 lead at Hofstra... had season highs of four stops vs. Delaware State and Maine and three vs. Lock Haven and Massachusetts... took part in two sacks vs. Maine and one vs. Lock Haven and Delaware State (assisted)... blocked a conversion try at Delaware and a field goal attempt vs. Villanova.
2004: Worked as a reserve DT for most of the year... played in nine games and had 11 stops (six unassisted)... started JMU’s opener vs. Lock Haven and its final regular-season finale at Towson... had a career-high six tackles, including five unassisted and two sacks (minus-18 yards), at Towson... had two stops (one for a loss) vs. Virginia Military... had two tackles at Villanova and one at West Virginia.
2003: Reserve OT as a red-shirt freshman.
High School: Four-year QB starter, a 1,000-point basketball scorer, and a 50-foot shot putter in track at Dallas... school's career passing leader (nearly 4,000 yards)... lettered three times in basketball and in track... on two league title football teams... as a senior was his football team's most valuable offensive player, a Super 33 choice and a Unico All-Star Game selection.
