At JMU: Fourth-year Duke with the ability to be among the A-10's top PKs after overcoming injuries that slowed him in 2005... gets good height on placements and is consistent and accurate, according the JMU staff... in team history begins 2006 third in conversions (85), fourth in points kicking (148), tied for sixth in field goals (21) and 11th in points (148).
2005: In limited time hit on 17 straight conversion tries overall and had a 22-yard field goal vs. Maine... hit on six conversions at Hofstra, five vs. Maine, four at Delaware and one vs. Massachusetts and Richmond.
2004: Third-team All-A-10... JMU’s top PK throughout the year but didn’t play vs. Virginia Military (thigh strain that slowed him for much of the year)... had a season-long field goal of 37 yards and a 29-yarder vs. Lock Haven... had two field goals at Richmond (32, 24 yards)... hit on his first 21 conversion tries of the year... provided the decisive point with 0:28 left in JMU’s 14-13 playoff win at Furman.
2003: As a true freshman became JMU’s PK vs. Richmond (Game 6)... hit on his first eight field goals tries... had field goals of 31 and 26 yards and hit on four straight conversion tries vs. Richmond in his first game... had field goals of 38 and 23 yards at Maine and of 31 and a career-long 48 yards vs. Rhode Island... had field goals vs. William & Mary (26 yards), New Hampshire (31), Charleston Southern (37) and Northeastern (20).
High School: Football and soccer standout at Franklin... two-time all-district and all-region in football... in soccer was first-team all-district and all-region as a junior and senior... second-team all-state as a junior and first-team as a senior... team captain, team MVP and district player of the year in soccer as a senior... received a National English Merit Award and was recognized as a Tidewater Young Achiever.
