2010: Played in 11 games, starting two at linebacker to earn his second letter... Recorded 28 tackles including 16 solos, 1.5 tackles for loss and one forced fumble and one fumble recovery... Recorded five tackles against Morehead State... Made two tackles and recovered a fumble in a win over Virginia Tech... Recorded two tackles and forced a fumble versus Delaware... Made six tackles and was in on one tackle for loss against UMass... Recorded a season-high seven tackles including one for loss at Maine.
2009: Saw action in all 11 games, getting the starting nod in five of them... Finished the season sixth for JMU with 52 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions... Had a career-high 11 tackles, including 1.5 sacks and a pass breakup, in the win at Delaware... Also had 10 tackles in the victory against Towson and nine tackles against eventual national champion Villanova... Had an interception and fumble recovery at William & Mary and an interception against Maine... Recorded all but seven of his tackles in the final six contests... In season opener at Maryland recorded four total tackles and one pass break-up.
High School: As a Northwest senior was First-Team All-County, Honorable Mention All-State and Washington Post All-Area Honorable Mention... Team defensive Most Valuable Player and set a team record for forced fumbles in a season... All-County as a junior on a division and region title team... As a senior ran 107 times for 588 yards and seven touchdowns and had 64 tackles, including seven for loss and two sacks, four pass deflections, an interception and five forced fumbles... All-County and honorable mention all-area as a junior.
