JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Senior
Nicolette Serratore competed in her final event for James Madison track and field at the NCAA East Preliminary Championships in the javelin.

She earned her way into the NCAAs with a 48.43m (158'11") throw at the Roadrunner Invitational. Serratore recorded a 40.64m (133'4") toss in the NCAAs to finish 45
th.

Serratore will leave JMU as the record holder in the javelin (48.43m) and the outdoor heptathlon (4,828). She also has the third most points in the indoor pentathlon at JMU (3,512) and ninth highest outdoor high jump (1.62m). Serratore is also a two-time NCAA East Preliminary participant and has finished top-3 at the CAA Championship twice in the javelin and three times in the heptathlon, including being the 2019 Heptathlon Champion.
