HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison track & field won eight event titles and saw two Dukes post top 10 program marks on Senior Day at Sentara Park at the annual JMU Invitational.

The Dukes picked up victories in the 400-meter dash (
Kadence Wilson – 56.16 (SB)), 1,500 meters (
Taylor Myers – 4:36.09 (PR)), 400-meter hurdles (
Sky Bleu Tyson – 1:01.21), 4x400-meter relay (3:46.08), steeplechase (
Izzy Greene – 11:17.51), high jump (
Aidan Faith – 1.66m), pole vault (
Madelyn Moles – 3.86m (PR)), and long jump (
Madison Greene – 5.75m).

At 3.86m (12-8), Moles moved into third in program history in the pole vault. Previously, the junior's best mark was 3.75m (12-3.5), set last year at the Virginia Challenge. Meanwhile,
Peyton Mermon produced a career-best throw of 38.10m (125-00) for third in the javelin, good for seventh in the JMU record book.
In addition to her win in the 400-meter dash, Wilson ran the first leg for the Dukes' first-place 4x400-meter team, which finished in 3:46.08. Wilson was joined by
Zariah Ricks,
Esther Saint-Germain, and
Christine Fitzgerald. Fellow senior
Faithe Ketchum took third in the 3,000 meters in 10:40.14.

How It Happened
- The Dukes went 2-4 in the 100-meter hurdles, led by Vashaun Broadus (14.55), followed by Sky Bleu Tyson (14.62).
- Christine Fitzgerald earned bronze in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.73.
- Elsewhere in the 1,500 meters, Bridget Koller (2nd – 4:37.76), Kate Bradish (4th – 4:43.86), and Sidney Walters (6th – 4:50.20) all recorded personal-best efforts.
- Kyndal Turner posted a PR of 24.73 in the 200-meter for fourth and rounded out the top five in the 100-meter dash in 11.89.
- Carol-Anne Garrett registered a personal-best time of 2:14.97 in the 800 meters for third, followed by Anna Lehman (5th – 2:16.54), and Grace Tate (6th – 2:16.95).
- In the steeplechase, Elizabeth Scarpa placed third with a PR of 11:42.63, shaving over 25 seconds off her previous best of 12:08.06.
- Elizabeth Michael tied her personal-best of 3.20m (10-6) in the pole vault for fifth.
