Michael Prior serves as the Director of the Annual Fund for the Duke Club, where he directs efforts to raise unrestricted funds to support student-athlete scholarships and the general operating budge of JMU athletics.
Prior to this role, Prior served as the Director of Digital & Social Media at JMU, where he worked with the athletics marketing and communications departments to increase online visibility, external communications venues and overall messaging to the JMU fan base.
Prior graduated with a Bachelor of Science in media arts and design with a concentration in converged media and a minor in sport communication from JMU. He then received a master’s degree in sports leadership in 2017.
