FAIRFAX, Va. – Two personal bests and an ECAC-qualifying mark highlight James Madison track and field action at the George Mason Last Chance Meet on Sunday evening.
Junior
Kelly Oler set her personal record in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.80, good for a fourth place finish while senior
Charlie Bell finished second in the race with a time of 59.57 seconds.
Freshman
Madelynn Knight ran the 1,000-meter race in 3:02.35, marking her personal best time, crossing the finish line in fourth place.
Junior
Erica Jackson turned in a second place finish in the 800-meter race with an ECAC-qualifying time of 2:13.89.
Senior
Aereale Scott continued her dominance in the 60-meter hurdles as she won the race in 8.62 seconds, beating six other runners.
In the throws, junior
Sidra Morris won both the weight throw and shot put with throws of 16.17 meters and 13.30 meters, respectively.
