BOSTON, Mass. – James Madison track and field finished 17th out of 41 teams at the ECAC Championships over the weekend.

JMU saw five All-ECAC Performers, two personal records and three Dukes advancing to the finals in their respective events after qualifying in the preliminary and semifinal rounds in Boston. The top-eight finishers in each event are designated as All-ECAC Performers.

DAY ONE
Junior
Nicolette Serratore finished fifth out of 11 competitors in the pentathlon with a score of 3,321 at day one of the ECAC Championships on Friday evening.

To open competition, Serratore crossed the finish line in 10th place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.45 seconds. Serratore landed tied for 11th in the high jump with a leap of 1.48 meters. In the shot put, the junior threw a distance of 10.71 meters, good for fourth place.

Serratore turned in a sixth place finish in the long jump with a jump of 5.21 meters. Serratore ran the 800-meter race in 2:28.54, finishing in fifth place to complete competition on Friday.

DAY TWO
Senior
Nora Raher crossed the finish line in sixth place out of 24 runners in the 5,000-meter race with a personal-best time of 16:50.00.

In the 60-meter hurdle semifinals, seniors
Aereale Scott and
De'Ana Forbes will advance to the finals tomorrow after finishing the dash in 8.45 (third out of 16) and 8.59 (seventh out of 16) seconds, respectively.

Junior
Erica Jackson ran into ninth place out of 26 runners in the 1,000-meters prelims with a time of 2:50.89, good enough to advance Jackson to the finals on Sunday.

DAY THREE | COMPLETE RESULTS
Junior
Sidra Morris landed in seventh place out of 24 throwers in the shot put after throwing a personal record distance of 14.77 meters.

Senior
Aereale Scott and
De'Ana Forbes landed in fourth and fifth, respectively in the 60-meter hurdles final. Scott crossed the finish line in 8.51 seconds, while Forbes followed right behind, finishing in 8.54 seconds.
