Boston, Mass. – The Dukes took on the David Hemery Valentine Invite hosted by Boston University and came away with six top-10 finishes, one school record and one more ECAC qualifier.

SCHOOL RECORD
Erica Jackson set the school record in the 1000m with her 2:48.84 time. This is the third school record broken this indoor season.

ECAC Qualifiers
- Jackson qualified for her third event with her 1000m finish. She has also qualified for the 800m and the mile
- Including Jackson, the Dukes have six individuals in nine events and three relays already qualified for the ECAC Indoor Championship which is set for March 1.

TOP-10
Alexys Taylor won her heat and headed to the 60m finals with the fastest time in the prelims. Taylor wrapped up the 60m finals with a second-place finish, which continued her season-streak of finishing first or second in each 60m dash this season.

Anoush Stamm took home second in the 500m with a 1:14.08. In her two 500m dashes run, she has come in the top-3 in both.

Jackson took 10
th in the 1000m to be the third Duke to take a top-10 finish at the David Hemery Invite.

Sidra Morris took second in the shot put, while
Dominique Johnson finished sixth. Morris has finished in the top-3 of each meet this season in the event tossing it over 14.30m each time, this time throwing the shot put 14.34m (47' 3/4"). Johnson set a new personal record of 13.66m (44'9.75").

Morris threw the weight throw 17.86m (58'7.25") to finish third in the event.

The Dukes 4x400m relay team of Stamm,
Tess Lee,
Tally Lott and
Jordan Bourgeois set a season-best time for the Dukes with a 3:50.70 time.

Nicolette Serratore will compete at the Queens Combined Events in Winston-Salem on Wednesday, Feb. 13. The whole team will compete next at the Va. Tech Challenge in Blacksburg on Friday, Feb. 15.
