HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison track and field program has released its full 2022-23 indoor and outdoor schedule as announced by the Director of Track & Field/Cross Country

JMU will start the new year with a trip to Huntington, W.Va. for the Marshall Classic on Jan. 14. The following week, the Dukes are set to compete at the Blue Marlin Invitational on Jan. 21, hosted by Virginia Wesleyan.
James Madison then heads to Lexington, Va. for two consecutive meets: the VMI Winter Classic (Jan. 27-28) and VMI Winter Relays (Feb. 3). JMU will also be in University Park, Pa. that weekend for Penn State's Sykes Sabock Invitational, Feb. 4.
The Dukes return to the commonwealth for Liberty's Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational on Feb. 10. Meanwhile, other members of the team will be in Boston, Mass. for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational (Feb. 10-11).
JMU will wrap up the month of February at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 20-21. The league showdown will be held in Birmingham, Ala. at the Birmingham CrossPlex. Following the conference meet, James Madison will prepare for the ECAC Indoor Championships (March 3-5). The program hopes to send qualifiers to the NCAA Indoor Championships, set for March 10-11 in Albuquerque, N.M.
James Madison kicks off its outdoor slate at Coastal Carolina's Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational on March 17-18. From there, the Dukes head to N.C. State for the Raleigh Relays (March 24-25). JMU will then trek to Fairfax, Va. for George Mason's Dalton Ebanks Invitational on April 8.
The Dukes are set to host the JMU Invite on April 15, the team's only home meet of the season. James Madison will then head east for the Virginia Challenge, hosted by Virginia (April 21-22). JMU finishes the month at the famous Penn Relays on April 27-29.
After a brief break, the Dukes will compete at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships (May 12-13). The conference meet will take place in Myrtle Beach, S.C. at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
The NCAA East Preliminary Round is slated for May 24-27 in Jacksonville, Fla., hosted by North Florida. Lastly, the NCAA Outdoor Championships are set for June 7-10 at the University of Texas.
