The Dukes begin the season in Lynchburg, Va., for the Liberty Kickoff on Friday, Dec. 1. They will remain in the commonwealth after the break for the Virginia Tech Invitational on Jan. 13 in Blacksburg, Va, followed by Virginia Welseyan's Blue Marlin Invitation on Jan. 20. The team will then trek to the Penn State National Open, Jan. 26-27 to close out the month.

JMU opens February at the VMI Winter Relays, Feb. 2-3, in Lexington, Va. The following weekend, James Madison returns to Lynchburg for the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational, Feb. 9-10, to prepare for the conference championship meets.

The Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships are set for Feb. 19-20 in Birmingham, Ala., at the Birmingham Crossplex. From there, the Dukes will wait to see who qualifies for the ECAC Indoor Championships (March 1-3) and the NCAA Indoor Championships (March 8-9).
