BOSTON – James Madison track & field picked up seven more points on day two of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Boston University this afternoon at the BU Track & Tennis Center.

The performances today give the Dukes 16 total points, good for fourth in the standings with 6 of 20 events scored. Northeastern and Towson are tied at the top with 20 points, while Columbia sits in third with 18.
How it Happened
Track Events
- Freshman Asia Powell had a phenomenal day in the 60m dash, clocking in a personal-best 7.52 in the prelims and semifinals for first in both rounds. Powell also ran a 24.76 200m dash in the prelims, qualifying her for the finals on Sunday. Her time makes her the fourth-fastest 200m dash competitor in program history.
- Sophomore Jordyn Henderson proved strong in the 60m hurdles, starting her day with an 8.65 time in the prelims before finishing in 8.59 in the semifinals.
- Graduate student Skyla Davidson recorded a career-best time of 8.76 in the semifinals of the 60m hurdles to punch her ticket to the finals. Davidson's time makes her the fifth-fastest Duke in the event in the JMU record book.
- Sophomore Holly Mpassy advanced to the finals of the 400m dash after running a 55.08 in the prelims.
- The 4x400m relay crew of sophomore Virginia Keys, freshman Kadence Wilson, senior Ariana Eberly, and Mpassy finished in 3:46.72, the third-best time in the prelims. Only Bucknell (3:43.00) and Howard (3:44.23) registered faster times.

- Senior Alex Kwasnik earned two points for James Madison, clearing 1.65m in the high jump for seventh.
- In the pole vault, junior Erica Moolman reached 3.66m to add five to JMU's point total.
