LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The James Madison track & field distance runners wrapped up their time at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier on Wednesday night at the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex.
How It Happened
- Junior Mary Milby ran in her first collegiate 400-meter dash, finishing in 1:02.11.
- Freshman Caroline Morley clocked in at 2:25.76 in her first 800-meter race of the outdoor season, while sophomore Riley Schindel ran to a tune of 2:37.59 in the same event.
- Freshman Faithe Ketchum paced the Dukes in the 1500-meter race with a personal-best time of 4:47.85, followed closely behind by senior Jessica Cantrell in 4:50.82. Classmate McKenzi Watkins crossed the finish line with a PR of 5:03.82.

The Dukes will now prepare for the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships, set for May 11-13. The league meet takes place at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, S.C. and will stream on ESPN+.
