CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – James Madison track & field added three performances to the program's record book after wrapping up its time at the Virginia Challenge at Lannigan Field.

Bria Byrd went 6.30m (20-8) for fourth in the long jump to remain in second in school history. The freshman currently ranks second in the Sun Belt Conference and 13th in the NCAA East Region.
Sky Blue Tyson finished eighth in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 1:00.69 – maintaining her No. 4 spot in program history. In the field,
Violet Evans cleared 1.67m (5-5.75) for third overall to tie for seventh in the JMU record book.

On the distance side, four Dukes made improvements in the 5,000 meters:
Madison Cole (PR – 17:57.27),
Kate Bradish (PR – 18:08.56),
Izzy Greene (SB – 18:13.53), and
Sarah Cestare (SB – 18:39.05). Elsewhere in the field,
Madelyn Moles tied for seventh in the pole vault at 3.75m (12-3.5).
