PRINCETON, N.J. – James Madison scored 22 points on the final day of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships to finish 11th as team on Sunday afternoon.
The Dukes finished with 25 points and 11th overall out of 44 teams. Albany won the championships with 67 points, followed by Princeton with 54 and Towson with 53 points to round out the top three.

Nora Raher began action for the Dukes running the 10,000-meter race in 35:51.21 to give her third place out of 17 competitors. In the 200-meter finals, junior
Meredith Willis finished fourth in 24.43 seconds.

Aereale Scott turned in a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles finals, crossing the finish line in a personal best time of 13.86 seconds. Senior
Gina Bischof ran in the 400-meter hurdles finals and finished in fourth with a time of 1:03.16.

Averi Witt teamed up to compete in the 4x800-meter relays and landed in ninth place, finishing in 9:06.86.

Dominique Johnson launched a distance of 44.85 meters in the discus throw which landed her in fourth place out of 26 throwers.

The Dukes continue postseason competition with the NCAA East Preliminary meet in Tampa, Fla. from May 24-26. The individual event student-athletes and relay teams accepted into Preliminary Round competition will be announced and posted on NCAA.com the week prior to Preliminary Round competition.
