TAMPA, Fla. – Junior
Nicolette Serratore of James Madison track and field will compete in the javelin throw at the 2018 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary on Thursday, May 24.
The javelin has been moved to a 1:30 p.m. start, due to the threat of inclement weather, at the University of South Florida Track & Field Stadium in Tampa.
Serratore notched her qualifying mark at the Raleigh Relays on March 31 where she set the JMU all-time record with a throw of 47.84 meters.
The top 12 competitors from each individual event in the Preliminary Round advance to the NCAA Division I Track and Field Championship in Eugene, Ore. from June 6-9.
