RALEIGH, N.C. – James Madison track & field junior thrower
Shelby Staib broke the program record in the javelin on the first day of the competitive Raleigh Relays at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility.
DAY ONE HIGHLIGHTS
- Staib finished ninth in a field of 39 competitors as she threw for 160' 6" (48.92m) to set the new school record in the javelin.
- In the 10,000m,
Miranda Stanhope crossed the finish line at 34:22.41 to rank third in program history.
- Both
Rachel Lloyd and
Erica Moolman tied for fifth in the pole vault with marks of 11' 9.75" (3.60m).

DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS
- In the 100mH,
Jordyn Henderson crossed the finish line at 13.86 to tie for third on the Dukes' all-time top 10 list. She finished 10th out of 52 competitors while winning her heat.Â
DAY THREEÂ HIGHLIGHTS
- Rookie
Sofia Lavreshina finished fifth out of 46 competitors in the 400mH with her time of 1:00.64.
