BOSTON – James Madison track & field athletes
Bethany Biggi and
Erin Babashak both competed in the pentathlon to open up the ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships for the Dukes Friday afternoon at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Biggi recorded a personal-best 3476 points in the pentathlon to finish fifth and earn All-East recognition. Her mark currently sits at fifth on the Dukes' all-time top 10 list for the event.
- In the 800m, Biggi crossed the finish line fourth with her personal-best time of 2:25.22. Additionally, the Lumberton, N.J. native registered a personal-best in the shot put with her mark of 32' 3.75" (9.85m).
- Babashak also recorded a personal best in the pentathlon with 3319 points to finish ninth. Her score ranks eighth on JMU's all-time top 10 list.
- The Midlothian, Va. native tied her personal best of 5' 1" (1.55m) in the high jump while also recording a personal best in the 800m with her sixth-place time of 2:29.24.
