BOSTON – James Madison track & field freshman
Sofia Lavreshina reset the 400m program record on the second day of the ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championship Saturday at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Lavreshina finished fourth in the 400m trails Saturday afternoon with her time of 54.75 to set the program record in the event. The Pombal, Portugal native broke her own record of 55.51 that she had previously set earlier this season at the Brant Tolsma Invite.

Holly Mpassy finished right behind Lavreshina with her mark of 54.79. Her time now ranks second in program history.
- Both Lavreshina and Mpassy will compete in the 400m finals tomorrow at 11:55 a.m.

Alex Kwasnik earned All-East recognition in the high jump with her sixth-place finish of 5' 3" (1.60m).
- Also earning All-East honors was
Miranda Stanhope with her second-place finish in the 5000m. The Kinsman, Ohio native crossed the finish line at 16:27.2 to move up to second place on the Dukes' all-time top 10 list for the indoor 5000m.

Jordyn Henderson also moved up to second on JMU's all-time top 10 list in the 60mH with her time of 8.51. Henderson heads into the finals tomorrow as the top qualifier.
- The 4x800m relay team of
Annie Dunlop,
Sinead Sargeant,
Sofia Terenziani and
Mary Milby qualified for tomorrow's final with their eighth-place time of 9:07.38.
- The Dukes end day two tied with Monmouth for third place with 14 points.

Ron McCown. "To have Sofia improve her school record time and have Holly, Jordyn and Miranda move up to second on our top 10 lists is an outstanding accomplishment for all four of these athletes.
