PHILADELPHIA -- James Madison track & field saw three Dukes produce solid times to open up the Penn Relays on Friday night at Franklin Field.
Sophomore
Sofia Lavreshina kicked off the meet for JMU in the 400-meter hurdles, recording a season-best time of 1:01.78. Junior
Miranda Stanhope ran in section one of the 5000-meter competition where she crossed the finish line in 16:50.48, less than one second off of her personal-best 16:49.77 set at the JMU Invite on April 15. Senior
Laura Webb competed in the second section of the event, finishing with a PR of 16:42.92. Webb is the seventh-fastest 5000-meter runner in school history, inching her way closer to
Shannon Saunders' time of 16:38.74 from 2006.
