UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – James Madison track & field posted another successful weekend, adding six performances to the program's record book at the Penn State National Open.

Nina Dominique recorded a personal-best 200-meter dash time of 24.40 for second overall, good for fifth in school history. The previous day, the freshman placed fourth in the 60-meter dash with a 7.51 clip.

Fellow sprinter
Christine Fitzgerald moved up to seventh in the JMU record book in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 55.96 for fourth overall. Later,
Sky Bleu Tyson, Fitzgerald,
Kadence Wilson, and
Mykenzie Britton completed the 4x400-meter relay in 3:45.93 for fourth in program history in the event.

Kam'Dyn Thomas went 8.61 in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles for fourth all-time at JMU. Thomas went on to finish sixth in the finals with a time of 8.68. In the field,
Elizabeth Michael improved her No. 9 pole vault mark to 3.30m (10-10, while in the high jump,
Violet Evans tied for 10th in the JMU record book, clearing 1.65m (5-5.

How It Happened
- Elsewhere on the track, newcomers Bridget Koller (2:13.27) and Anna Lehman (2:16.11) both notched personal bests in the 800-meter competition.
- Carol-Anne Garrett shaved off over 25 seconds on her mile PR, crossing the finish line in 5:50.20. Madison Cole also posted a career-best in the race at 5:25.75
- Taylor Myers registered a personal-best time of 9:56.71 in the 3,000 meters. Izzy Greene (10:12.59) also had a career-best performance in the event.
- Aidan Faith (1.70m (5-7)) paced the Dukes in the high jump, while Violet Evans set a PR with an effort of 1.65m (5-5).
- In the long jump, Bria Byrd flew 5.94m (19-6) for bronze, while Madison Greene finished a PR of 5.56m (18-3).
