LEXINGTON, Va. – The James Madison track & field team saw a pair of second-place finishes on the final day of the VMI Winter Relays Saturday at the VMI-Corps Physical Training Facility.

Meet Highlights
- Laura Webb finished second in the mile with her time of 5:07.38.
- Also competing in the mile was Jessica Cantrell, who crossed the finish line at 5:25.26 for sixth place.
- Mary Milby recorded a fifth-place finish in the 800m, clocking in at 2:24.67.
- The DMR squad of Sofia Terenziani, Arianna Eberly, Sinead Sargeant and Miranda Stanhope earned second place with their ECAC-qualifiying time of 11:53.01.

Quoting Coach McCown
- "Congratulations to the DMR for achieving an ECAC qualifying mark," commented head coach Ron McCown. "Laura also did well with her runner-up finish in the mile. It was another positive weekend for us as a team. I am pleased with where we are at this point."
