BLACKSBURG, Va. – The James Madison track & field team saw success at the Virginia Tech Challenge both Friday and Saturday at the Rector Fieldhouse as
Maddy Hesler led the Dukes with her first-place finish in the 3000m.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Sofia Terenziani led the way in the 1000m with her second-place time of 2:57.15.

Sinead Sargeant followed in fourth with her personal-best 2:59.95 while
Lanie Jo Knight crossed the finish line at 3:10.41 for sixth place.
- In the 60m hurdles finals,
Jordyn Henderson finished seventh with her personal-best mark of 8.63. Her time ranks fourth on the Dukes' all-time top 10 list for the indoor 60mH.

Rachel Lloyd finished sixth in the pole vault with her mark of 11' 11.75" (3.65m).
- In the 200m, both
Holly Mpassy (25.04) and
Sofia Lavreshina (25.19) recorded personal bests as they finished fifth and sixth, respectively. Mpassy's time was an ECAC qualifying mark.

Alex Kwasnik and
Bethany Biggi both tied for third in the high jump with marks of 5' 3.25" (1.61m).
- Hesler wrapped up the meet with her first-place time of 10:30.14 in the 3000m.
