LEXINGTON, Va. –
Madelyn Moles cleared 3.82m (12-6.25) to capture first place and set a school record in the pole vault as James Madison track & field produced eight first-place finishes on Friday at the VMI Invitational inside the Corps Physical Training Facility.

In addition to Moles' performance,
Bria Byrd (Long Jump),
Aidan Faith (High Jump), and
Madison Greene (Triple Jump) also registered top 10 program marks. Byrd soared 6.08m (19-11.5) to move into second in the JMU record book, while Faith tied for second in program history with a height of 1.71m (5-7.25), and Greene leaped 11.77m (38-7.5) to round out the top 10.

How It Happened
- Nina Dominique (7.597) and Kyndal Turner (7.60) went 1-2 in the 60-meter dash, respectively.
- Kam'Dyn Thomas produced an 8.75 clip in the 60-meter hurdles for first.
- Mykenzie Britton (56.44) claimed a win in the 400-meter dash, followed by Christine Fitzgerald (2nd – 57.28) and Sky Bleu Tyson (5th – 58.47).
- The quartet of Tyson, Fitzgerald, Byrd, and Britton clocked in a season-best 4x400-meter relay time of 3:50.89 for first.
- Madison Cole (10:25.93) and Elizabeth Rainey (11:10.95) posted a 1-3 finish in the 3,000 meters.
- In a JMU-only distance medley relay, the Dukes' 'A' team of Kristin Giordano, Meghan Hundley, Faithe Ketchum, and Taylor Myers took home gold in 12:28.47.
- Bridget Koller finished in 2:15.75 for second in the 800 meters – the fastest time in the event by a Duke since the 2019-20 indoor season.
- Kate Bradish was runner-up in the mile with a time of 5:15.97.
- Greene also placed fourth in the long jump with a personal-best effort of 5.51m (18-1).

- Moles took down Rachel Lloyd's previous indoor pole vault record of 3.81m (12-6), set at the VMI Winter Classic on Jan. 27, 2023.
- Byrd is second in the long jump in program history behind Seun Augustus' 6.19m (20-3.75) mark from 2000.
