Joined the JMU program during the summer after two years at North Carolina State… in 13 games in 2003 caught six passes for 81 yards… had a 34-yard TD catch vs. Virginia… in 2004 appeared in eight games and caught three passes for eight yards and ran four times for 31 yards… had a 29-yard run vs. Georgia Tech… at Southern Vance High School was a four-year football and basketball standout, earning team MVP honors in both sports and school athlete of the year honors… all-conference, all-region and all-state honoree in football and received All-America recognition as a junior and senior… member of a conference title football team as a junior and a conference title basketball team as a senior… threw for nearly 1,500 yards as a senior… threw for 1,110 yards and 12 TDs and ran for 700 yards as a junior… played in the same scholastic program that produced former JMU standout Richard Hicks (1999-2002) and 2005 JMU signee Reggie Hicks… Christopher Aaron Hawkins… born May 15, 1985… kinesiology major.
