At JMU: Veteran performer who can provide LB depth as well as serving as a long snapper and being used in other special teams situations… appeared in each of JMU’s 2003 games, mostly on special teams… in 2002 played in 11 games as a reserve LB and on special teams… had seven tackles (six primary)… had four primary stops at Delaware and two at Northeastern… had an assist at Richmond and broke up a pass vs. Villanova… in 2001 didn't play after suffering knee problem vs. Elon.
High School: All-Catholic TE as a junior and senior at Archbishop Ryan… as a senior was an all-city DE and his team's offensive MVP… played in the city all-star game as a senior and played basketball and baseball… his team played in the Catholic league title game in 1997 and 1998.
Personal: Francis Joseph McArdle… born Nov. 15, 1981… kinesiology major with a sports management major and a general business minor.
