At JMU: Returnee who is a probable TE starter after a good spring practice period… smart and hard-working player who blocks well, runs good pass routes and has good hands, said TE coach Phi Ratliff… in 2003 played in each JMU game as a reserve TE and on special teams… had a catch for 23 yards at Massachusetts, a 25-yarder vs. Richmond, a five-yarder at New Hampshire, and a one-yarder vs. Charleston Southern… enrolled at JMU for the 2000 season and was red-shirted before leaving the JMU program for 2001… worked as a QB during his 2000 red-shirt season.
High School: Standout QB and LB at Oakton… started at LB as a junior on a regional final team… first-team all-district and all-region and honorable mention all-state as a senior.
