At JMU: Returns as JMU’s expected center starter after missing 2003 after a preseason camp knee problem… named to the All-A-10 second team in 2002, to the 2003 preseason first team and to the 2004 preseason second team… physical player whose leadership was missed as much as his play last season, said OL coach Curt Newsome… a key JMU performer since moving into the team’s starting lineup in 2001, first at OG and during the second half of the year at center… became a starter at OG vs. Rhode Island in the Dukes' third 2001 game and was the starter at center beginning with the William & Mary game… starter throughout 2002… worked as a DL reserve in 2000 but moved to offense during 2001 spring practice.
High School: As a senior at Edna Karr was first-team all-district, all-West Bank, and all-metro (New Orleans) and second-team all-state… team's OL and DL of the year as a senior… as a junior was his team's OL of the year, first-team all-district and second-team all-metro… played on a district title team.
