At JMU: Fifth-year Duke and a potential OT starter… has good footwork, has shown vast improvement as a run blocker and continues to improve as a pass blocker, said OL coach Curt Newsome… in 2003 made nine OT starts, including each of JMU’s last eight games… in 2002 started vs. Florida Atlantic and was in the team’s playing rotation throughout the year… in 2001 as a red-shirt freshman made starts at OG and OT… began 2001 as an OG starter, went to OT midway through the year and later returned to OG.
High School: Two-year starter at OT and as a DL… on two playoff teams at Bishop McNamara… as a senior was all-league and All-Catholic by the Prince Georges Journal and all-county… a Super 44 all-star… as a junior won his team's coaches' award as its most-improved player.
