At JMU: Fifth-year Duke and a returning safety starter after rejoining JMU’s defense in 2003… began his JMU career as a defender but was a TB for the final two games of 2001 and throughout 2002… athletic and during spring drills defended well against the run, said DB coach Chip West.
2003: Played in each JMU game and started 11 (all but Massachusetts)… had 13 primary stops and an interception at Villanova… had six tackles (five primary) and two interceptions vs. Richmond… had five tackles (four primary) vs. Rhode Island… had six tackles (four primary) at New Hampshire… had five primary tackles vs. Northeastern… returned 11 kickoffs for 214 yards... had a 25-yard return at William & Mary to help set up JMU’s first TD of the game.
2002: Shared JMU’s offensive MVP award with WR Alan Harrison… led JMU in rushing yards, rushing TDs and overall TDs (7)… had career highs of 32 carries and 177 yards and ran 73 yards for a TD at Hofstra... ran 27 times for 155 yards and had TD runs of 18 and 25 yards vs. New Hampshire… A-10 offensive player of the week after both games… ran 19 times for 75 yards vs. Maine… had a four-yard TD run vs. Hampton and a one-yarder vs. New Hampshire… ran for five TDs in JMU’s first four games… scored on a one-yard run vs. Massachusetts and a four-yard pass vs. William & Mary… had two catches for 41 yards vs. Florida Atlantic.
2001: Had 37 tackles (33 primary) in JMU's first nine games and ran for 178 yards on 31 carries in its last two… had nine tackles (all primary) at New Hampshire, six vs. Delaware, and four vs. Maine, Massachusetts, and William & Mary… returned an interception 23 yards to set up a field goal at William & Mary… ran 18 times 62 yards vs. Northeastern… ran 13 times for 116 yards at Liberty, scoring on a 65-yard run, JMU's longest run of the year.
High School: Three-year letterman at Harry Truman… all-league and all-state as a senior when as a DB and RB he was team MVP and outstanding offensive player… team MVP in the Bucks County all-star game after running for 111 yards and a TD… set team and area rushing records… Lower Bucks County player of the year and a first-team RB and DB by the Courier Times… first-team DB by the Trentonian… all-league at DB as a junior.
