2003: Made 11 starts, all but New Hampshire after playing sparingly the previous week vs. Rhode Island…. had a 59.8 completion percentage, the highest by a JMU junior… on JMU’s all-time season lists his completions rank fourth, his TD passes and pass attempts sixth, and his passing yards seventh… had four games with two or more TD passes… threw for 258 yards and a TD vs. Northeastern, 248 yards and three TDs at Massachusetts, and 210 yards and two TDs vs. Liberty… completed 21 of 32 passes vs Massachusetts, 26 of 40 vs Northeastern, and 16 of 26 vs. Liberty… completed eight of 13 passes for 174 yards and two TDs vs. Charleston Southern… hit WR D.D. Boxley with a 32-yard TD pass with 0:54 left for the deciding points in JMU’s 23-20 win over Hofstra… had TD passes vs. Villanova (2), Richmond and Maine… had a season-long 61-yard completion to Alan Harrison for a TD vs. Charleston Southern.
2002: Made 11 starts (missed Northeastern game) but played sparingly vs. Richmond and William & Mary… threw for a season-high 249 yards vs. Florida Atlantic and for 220 yards vs. Massachusetts, hitting on 19 of 38 and 12 of 23 passes, respectively… at Rhode Island hit on 13 of 15 passes for a JMU-game-record 86.7 percent completion mark and 176 yards… threw a 10-yard TD pass to Alan Harrison with 5:32 left to send the Hofstra game into overtime… had a six-yard TD toss at Delaware and a four-yarder vs. William & Mary… led JMU on TD drives of 58 and 68 yards on its first two series vs. William & Mary but left in the second quarter… had a season-long 77-yard pass to Jason Mallory at Delaware and a 72-yarder to Mark Higgins vs. Massachusetts… ran for 58 yards vs. Hampton.
2001: Suffered a shoulder injury in JMU's opener vs. Elon and played only briefly in the next three games… didn't play at Liberty… impressive vs. Elon in his first game and at Villanova (A-10 rookie of the week after both)… vs. Elon hit on 11 of 17 passes for 143 yards and two TDs and ran seven times for 61 yards and two TDs… at Villanova hit on 34 of 58 passes for 376 yards and three TDs and ran for 29 yards and a TD… at Villanova set JMU game records for completions, pass attempts and total offence (405) and had the No. 2 passing yards game in team history… hit on 11 of 17 passes for 156 yards and had a 66-yard TD toss to Brannon Goins at Massachusetts… had TD passes of 28 and 20 yards vs. Elon, of 13, two and six yards at Villanova, and of 26 yards vs. Richmond… had TD runs of 18 and four yards vs. Elon and one yard at Villanova… had a season-long run of 38 yards to set up a field goal vs. Richmond.
High School: Three-time all-area and team MVP as a Westside junior and senior… a captain and all-state as a senior… threw for 3,748 yards and 33 TDs… threw for 1,356 yards and 15 TDs as a sophomore, 867 yards and six TDs as a junior and 1,525 yards and 12 TDs as a senior… ran for 135 yards and a TD as a sophomore, 341 yards and five TDs as a junior and 358 yards and seven TDs as a senior… completed 246 of 510 career passes, averaged 39.4 and 38.3 yards in two years as a punter, and hit on 42 of 46 conversion kicks and on three field goals… state player of the week twice as a senior… lettered in soccer and baseball and a state meet qualifier in two swimming relays.
