2003: Third-team All-A-10 DB… first-team All-Virginia by the state’s sports information directors and second team by the Roanoke Times… started all 12 JMU games at FS… third on the team in tackles and first among DBs… had six tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and two blocked kicks… had a career-high 17 tackles (14 primary), a pass breakup, and two tackles for loss at Maine… had 14 tackles (11 primary) and a tackle for loss vs. Northeastern and 13 tackles (10 primary stops) and a pass breakup vs. Rhode Island… forced two fumbles, one setting up a JMU TD, and had four tackles vs. Liberty… had six tackles (five primary) and a fumble recovery and blocked a PAT try at Virginia Tech… blocked a Hofstra field goal try.
2002: Third on the team overall and first among DBs in tackles… team leader in primary stops… JMU’s special teams player of the year… led JMU with three blocked kicks… blocked PAT and field goal tries vs. Villanova and a field goal try at Delaware… teammate Trey Townsend scored on an 80-yard return of his field goal try block vs. Villanova… returned an interception 17 yards vs. Villanova and was A-10 special teams co-player of the week… had 14 tackles (nine primary) and broke up three passes vs. Villanova… had 15 tackles (nine primary) and a tackle for loss at Richmond… had a team-high 14 tackles (12 primary) vs. New Hampshire, 11 (10 primary) vs. Maine, 10 (nine primary) at Delaware, and nine (eight primary) vs. William & Mary.
2001: Played in JMU's last 10 games and was a CB starter late in the year as a true freshman… had a season-high seven stops in JMU's season-finale at Liberty… had six stops vs. Richmond and William & Mary (four primary in each)… took part in a sack at Massachusetts and had a tackle for loss at William & Mary… had four tackles vs. Massachusetts and Delaware and three vs. Villanova and Northeastern.
High School: Football and track standout at Bok Tech… first-team all-public and all-city as a senior RB… named to the city all-star game… second-team all-city as a junior in football and his track team's MVP… played on three football division title teams.
